How to delete your SnapIt account and data

Delete from the App

The easiest way to delete your account:

1. Open SnapIt
2. Go to Profile tab
3. Tap Settings (gear icon)
4. Scroll down and tap Delete Account
5. Confirm deletion

Delete via Email

If you can't access the app, send an email to hello@snapitai.app with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your account.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

• Your profile information (name, email)
• All snap completion logs
• Streak and accountability score history
• Earned badges
• Leaderboard entries

What Stays on Your Device

The following local data is not automatically removed when you delete your server account:

• Locally saved snap schedules (cleared when you uninstall the app)
• Verification photos stored on your device (managed through your Photos app or Files)

To fully remove all local data, uninstall the SnapIt app from your device.

Timeline

Account deletion is processed within 30 days of your request. During this period, your account is deactivated and your data is no longer visible to other users.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your App Store subscription. To avoid future charges, cancel your subscription separately: iPhone Settings > tap your name > Subscriptions > SnapIt > Cancel.
