How does AI verification work?

When your alarm goes off, you take a photo of yourself doing the task. Our AI (powered by Google Gemini Vision) analyzes the image in real-time to confirm you're actually doing what you said you'd do. The photo is processed instantly and never stored on our servers.

What if the AI doesn't recognize my photo?

If verification fails, you can retake the photo up to 3 times. Make sure the photo clearly shows you performing the task. If the AI service is temporarily unavailable, you'll be given the option to dismiss manually (this won't count as verified).

Can I turn off the screen lock?

The screen lock is what makes SnapIt effective — it's the core feature. However, you can configure a grace period (15–120 seconds) in Settings to give yourself a brief pause before needing to snap. You can also deactivate or delete individual snaps at any time.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to iPhone Settings > tap your name > Subscriptions > SnapIt > Cancel Subscription. Your Pro features will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

How do I delete my account?

You can request account deletion from the app (Profile > Settings > Delete Account) or by emailing us at hello@snapitai.app. We will delete all your data within 30 days. See our Account Deletion page for more details.

Is my data safe?

Yes. We use encrypted connections, secure authentication, and row-level security on our database. Photos stay on your device. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
